Manda-Lynn

If you remember the couple from the Maternity shoot back in October, you will be very excited to know that this is their little one! She arrived (FINALLY!) this past week.

Both mom and baby are doing well although pretty tired from the whole ordeal!

It was dark in that room... but there was such a sense of excitement and joy!

I love this one!

So... a big congrats to Mark and Melissa on the birth of their adorable little daughter! 

The plan is to do more formal portraits before Christmas.

Our Itty Bitty Tree

Our Christmas tree is up! This teeny tiny one is all that fits in our apartment. 

If you notice in the photo I have white lights strung up to. It is SO PRETTY!! 

Tree ornaments this year are bluebirds, and silver butterflies with the new purple glittery ball ornaments we bought last week. 

I'm thinking I am going to switch to white lights for the tree next year. 

I grew up with white lights on our tree...so that's probably why the neon colored lights just aren't my taste!

Baby Update:

As of right now Melissa and Mark are still waiting for the baby to be born. NEW UPDATE 5:14pm the baby has been born!!

Family Photos of my Family!

It is a daunting task to get 8 people standing still, smiling, and looking at you for at least 5 seconds! 

I had to splice together two different photos to get at least one semi-decent photo! My mom wants to do another session before Christmas where I have more time to take photos. This last one was taken Thanksgving day! I have noticed a trend though, Matt almost always has the oddest expressions. Katelyn likes to tilt her head up and show a tight smile... Jeremiah likes to be VERY silly and not stay still. Stephanie is just uncomfortable with cameras.... I will get gorgeous smiles... but usually with them 1 or 2 adorable smiles and the rest are all looking very strange!! lol 

I guess before the next session we will have to have a "posing" lesson!

Some Really Awesome News, and Some Sad News

First the Really Awesome News!

Melissa from the Maternity photoshoot is in the hospital right now and has been induced! 

We are waiting to hear when the baby is born!!!!
Hooray!!!



Now the Sad News...

Fin, my two year old King Betta died yesterday....



And my little Zuko died today.

I will miss them both.
Fin was quite the character and Zuko was a big grump...
But they were my little "babies" and I enjoyed spoiling them.

I do still have three others....
