I'm an Auntie!

My nephew is finally here! He was 5 days late, and arrived at 7lbs 12oz. He was born around 5pm on Christmas Eve!

They named him Collin after my brother.

I met him Christmas morning.

I met my baby brother for the first time when I was 4 and here I am 22 years later meeting his son.

He looks a lot like my brother did as a newborn. Less hair though!

Tiny little toes!

The beautiful Momma! Sarah had a very long labor but is recovering well. She is a trooper!

My mom meeting her grandson for the first time.

My dad is a grandpa now!
My youngest siblings meeting their nephew. A lot of proud aunts and uncles!

Great Grandma enjoying the feeling of a tiny little baby in her arms.

Our family is so excited to have a little baby around again.

I'm a proud Auntie!

Justin has very little experience with newborn so he was nervous about holding Baby Collin.

Justin holding his nephew

He did a great job even if he was nervous!

My mom crocheted this little "Minion" outfit for the baby.

Molly meeting her new member of the family.

I'm eager to visit Collin and Sarah again soon so I can hold my nephew again!

Thankyou to everyone who has been praying for Sarah during her pregnancy. We really appreciated all of them!

Love a brand new Auntie,

Christmas Eve

Every year on Christmas Eve my mother-in-law's side of the family has a family reunion. Not everyone was able to come this year and I was sick so it was not as awesome as previous years but it was still nice to see people who live out-of-state.

My in-law's dog Shadow is sadly really starting to show his age now and has been dealing with "Old Dog Disease" (Canine Vestibular) . He still is a big sweetie pie.

All of Uncle Dave's kids. Two of the youngest boys were shorter than me when I first met Justin!

My mother-in-law made these amazing kebobs.

Leah and Jessica

Enjoying all the food

She wasn't a fan of the camera

Justin and his cousin Jesse playing "Exploding Kittens"

We brought Oliver along so my mother-in-law could see him. Everyone fell in love with his blue eyes!

Merry Christmas- My Nephew Will Be Here Soon!

I hope everyone enjoys their celebrations today and tomorrow!

My sister-in-law Sarah is currently in labor.
We are hoping the baby arrives today! He was due the 19th but apparently he really wants to be a Christmas baby.

We have had Oliver for two weeks now and he is doing very well.

Since my siblings are on Christmas break this week I got some visitors for lunch on Tuesday!

Justin had a few friends/cousins over the other night for a mini Christmas party.

Justin was busy baking coconut pies last night

I made some chocolate bark.

Here's hoping my nephew arrives soon! Merry Christmas everyone!

Oliver

Meet Oliver, a 1 year old Ragdoll cat and guess what??
This adorable little kitty is now all mine!

Justin recently started working at a new job and his hours are longer than his old job. It gets kinda lonely all by myself for hours on end so Justin decided that I needed a little friend.

Oliver's former family were moving and sadly they had to find him a new home. So long story short his new home is with us!

I have never had a cat before since my mom is allergic to cats so this is all a new adventure for me. Thankfully Justin grew up with a few cats during his childhood so he knows the ins-and-outs of caring for them.

Oliver has the cutest little paws. All of them are white on the toes. Like teeny tiny socks!

He is also playful and decided that my camera strap would be awesome to wrestle with and chew.

Oliver has the prettiest blue eyes. I have never seen a cat in person with such stunning blues.

It's very nice to have somebody hanging out with me who really loves snuggles!

Such a cutie!

And here is my favorite photo of him sleeping on my fuzzy brown blanket.

Don't worry about Percy though! He is still very much a spoiled bunny. He isn't as cuddly and snuggly as I had hoped for when we originally brought him home but I still love him so very much. Oliver is making up for the missed cuddles- but Percy is still my sweet guy.

We have not let Percy roam the house yet outside of his cage as we are letting Oliver get used to the apartment. We plan to let them sniff and check each other out soon freely. They have met through Percy's cage walls between them so I'm hoping they are gradually getting used to each other. We plan to be very careful when and if we ever allow them free roaming time together. If they don't get along we will just put Oliver in a separate room while Percy gets his run-around-the-house time.

Our Little Christmas Tree

Justin putting the lights on our tiny tree.

He wanted colored lights this year.

Putting on the ornaments

I'm more of a fan of white lights but doing these neon ones are very pretty.

I took this photo with a longer exposure so I could catch the starburst effect off of the lights.

A little gold ornament

Sparkly snowflake ornament we found at a dollar store

All done!!
