Christmas Eve with my New Family

This Christmas Eve I had the experience of a lifetime!
Justin's family gets together every Christmas Eve, every year.
And, now that we are finally married I was able to attend!

Now, this is a BIG family.
17 cousins, most of them married, and at least 2 children each.
The day began with football at a local park.

"Charge!!!!"

My sister-in-law, Jessica, is on the right.

Uncle Jeff making a game plan with his team

By the way, this was our glorious playing field.
 Yuk.

Moments from someone getting slammed into the mud...

Did I mention that it was freezing and bitterly, horribly, inconsiderately cold?!

Funny thing,
For one team the wives showed up to watch their husbands play. The other team, only one wife showed up. Guess which side won??
The team that had more of their wives cheering on. lol
This means my hubby was on the winning team!

But enough with football,
On to the cute little people...

One of the adorable 2nd cousins...

Going for a walk with his grandpa...

The pretty geese...

He wants to catch them!

He didn't catch any geese :(

Back at the Grandparent's house, meeting more relatives.

Uncle Dave has the best seat in the house!!

Justin talking to Brian...

This little girl was one of at least 8 children under the age of 3...
She wants that present...

She really really wants that present!

She is so cute!

This is how we play "squish 30+ people into one room..."

The other side of the room...

I am way on the left...

I still can't believe how many people were in that room!

We played the "Oldy-wed, Newly-Wed" game

Someone loves her thumb!

The game was funny!

Uncle Jeff and Aunt Maryrose

Jessica playing a game with all the little kids gathered around...

Everyone relaxing...

Children bouncing...

Shadow looking cute...

Shadow wishes you all a great night,

And so do I!
God bless,
~Rebecca
