Flamig Farm trip 2019

For the Indigenous Peoples holiday weekend, Justin and I went to visit Flamig Farm again. Flamig is known for their backward "Eggs" sign.

The gift shop and ticket counter. The entry fee is very reasonable and you can buy feed for the animals too.

There were a lot of chickens roaming around the farm scratching the dirt for bugs.

Look at that beautiful autumn foliage. Mid October is peak fall colors in our state. 🍁

This hen was ready for grain from visitors.

Enjoying the first pickings out of our feed bucket.

One of the roosters keeping watch

Beautiful black and green iridescence on this rooster's feathers.

Roosters (and the hens too) have such gorgeous feathers.

Another beautiful rooster.

Sleeping piggie

Look at the colors on this hen

This white hen was so cute

Justin always really enjoys the chickens.

This hen has some funky feathers

Juvenile chickens at a feed bucket with some hens.

A very tiny rooster crowing his very tiny crow

Look at how tiny that rooster is next to a hen.

Peacock and Peahen resting together. 💕

 Such pretty birds

I have never seen a peacock fluff up their feathers before

I love that deep blue on their neck feathers

Some more peafowl

The goats are very food motivated!

This little goat was so cute.

This goose hissed at me

Some of the ducks

The llama and alpaca pen

Look at that shaggy hair-do

We got to meet the farm's newest baby alpaca named Diego

He was so soft 😍

I'm pretty sure this is Junior from last year. Junior was the new baby that liked escaping the pen

Yup, I'm pretty sure it's Junior

This sheep kept baaing at me trying to get my attention.

Justin and I 💓

She thought my puns were too cheesy

Look at those fuzzy ears on this cow 😍

Not gonna lie, over-sized chairs are really fun

Justin enjoying that afternoon sun 😆

The donkeys were too busy eating hay to come over to greet us.

The emu wasn't too busy to say hi.

Weirdest birds around

Some more sheep

A very loud goat

Sow and piglets

Some more cute little piggies

Look at those big ears 😂

The ponies were very sweet

An Appaloosa pony

He was very friendly.

One of the hay ride wagons.

Pavilion and carriage barn

 Pumpkins for sale

Justin checking out the gift shop.

The new chicks. It's crazy how tiny and light they are in my hands

 So tiny

Justin was surprised by this sleeping cat on the counter. It took him a moment to realize it was a cat

Another barnyard cat snoozing

And that sums up our trip this year.
Flamig Farm is very beautiful and it was nice to enjoy a lovely autumn day out and about.

Love, Rebecca 🍂
