At the time of the party Sarah's cat was pregnant

Molly got quite a large belly so we were anxiously awaiting kittens. Her first litter was just one kitten! I have never ever heard of that!

A couple days after the party Sarah texted me this picture! Molly had five kittens!!! I have more pictures of them coming soon!

Fajita Fling

We decided to throw a party for the people who helped us with our move back in March

Justin decided to make chicken fajitas for the party food. He used an Alton Brown marinade recipe for the veggies and chicken and marinated them overnight.

Starting the vegetables

My brother helped with preparing the cheese for the fajitas

I got to show Collin Levi the new blocks we got for him to play with when he visits us.

 I guess they were delicious?

It smelled amazing in the kitchen

 My brother loves to cook

Nachos hot out of the oven

Fran was a huge help during the move especially on my bad back days when I was struggling to pack.

The day we had the party it was beautiful out, so some people ate on our front porch.

My nephew was a bit too excited about jumping off the porch so my mother-in-law helped keep him from getting a little too adventurous.

of course I had to take a photo with my nephew!

Justin and I are so thankful for all the friends and family members who helped us pack and move. It was such a huge blessing!

Our Easter

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter with your family and friends! This year I was a little sick but I was able to spend some time with my husband's family.

My in-laws made a delicious Easter lunch and it was so pretty out we had our meal outside on the porch

It was very windy but not cold at all.

Justin's aunt made lemon cookies!

Look at that beard!

My mother-in-law made a perfect, crack-less cheesecake

Because their birthdays were in a couple days (today is my father-in-law's birthday!) we celebrated after lunch.

Happy Birthday!!

My mother-in-law cutting the cheesecake. It was delicious!

We gave her a Dr. Who necklace for her birthday

Aunt Stephanie's perfectly-lemon bread.

the wind eventually destroyed these tulip blooms unfortunately

 Pansies!

At one point we had a sudden rain burst for about 10 minutes. Shadow seemed to enjoy it!

 After dinner relaxing

Look at that sunlight through the petals. So pretty!

I love when sunlight illuminates plants

They had fun

Easter always feels like the official kick off to spring (and seasonal allergies)
I hope you all have a wonderful week!
