Queen Angelfish

Whenever I photograph bugs, fish or plants I try to research the name of the species or type, sometimes I end up typing the craziest things into my internet search bar. For this Queen Angelfish I had typed in "Yellow fish with blue" and searched until I found a photo of similar looking fish that actually was named!

Teen Night- Pirate Theme

We recently had our "end of summer" teen event. Some of our former students attended as well, which was really nice because they all headed off to college a week after. We will miss them!

Justin told the teens/attendees that we were holding a pirate dress-up contest. Leah had an impressive get-up!

Now I'm not 100% clear on whats going on here but apparently they had to put shaving cream on their face while team members threw cheetos at them. (trying to get the cheetos to stick I guess??)

We had a fun evening with the kids and I am sending huge hugs to the ones who left for college. I wish you the best and hope you have an awesome semester! You will be missed.

Ah, Love

You know what is so awesome about being in love?

It's that feeling of complete joy when you are together,

It's that comfort of knowing that someone else appreciates all your weirdness and quirks

It's that awesome sense of finding that one person who completes you,

It's that feeling that anything can be accomplished as long as you two are together,

It's the desire to always be together,

To give everything you have and everything you are for them,

It's that feeling that you have found the most precious treasure in the whole world,

The feeling that they make you a better person than you could ever be on your own,

It's the comfort in knowing that someone cares so much for you,

That nothing is too difficult to overcome,

And that you are everything to them,

Being in Love is all that and more,

It's a journey,

That has dark times and good times,

but a journey worth your all.

A journey that leads to amazing adventures.

I want to wish a huge CONGRATS! to my baby brother Collin and his beautiful girlfriend Sarah on their engagement. He proposed this past Saturday.

Now I'm listening to sappy romantic songs and getting all mushy!
